Your Favorite Make-Out Music

Category: Dating and Relationships

I got the idea for this topic when Goblin mentioned in his response to blindguy's post on kissing that he and the person he first kissed spent the night smooching to Iron Maiden. No ofense goblin, but personally, I don't consider Iron Maiden ideal make-out music. But I guess everyone has their own opinion on that subject, which is why I started this topic. What's your favorite music to make out too, and if you feel like answering this one, why?
And of all the coincidences "Justify My Love" by Madonna is on the radio right now.

I think it depends on the mood. If you're in more of a sensual, passionate mood, then emotive music works best. If you're appealing to that raw, carnal rough side, then techno-sounding or Nine Inch Nails-type music is better. I used to find Sarah McLauchlan's music to be ideal for make-out sessions: Fumbling towards Ecstasy and Surfacing. Those two albums explore a wide array of emotions, are soft, sensual, and appeal to the passionate side. I think that today, I'd exclusively be going Kurt Elling. The beautiful quality of his voice, the poetic lyrics, the way he is able to deliver a balad...I could put on his albums and not worry about spoiling the mood, even when a sad track comes on.

Make out songs, interesting topic. I think it depends on the persons or the couples mood. People like to make out in this places such as the high school hall ways, if they want it public, the janitors closet, an empty classroom, the back seat of a movie theater, in the bar, you can see a lot of people making out, or better yet in an empty couch at home. Well theres a lot of songs for making out. Slow jams, acoustic, techno music, alternative, and for some people. They find it okay to make out with a rock music.

Almost anything by the artist Maxwell.

I love acoustic music. Haven't made oout to any yet, but acosutic is romantic, intimate in my opinion. It's jsut not as in your face as the electric guitars can be. Not sure what I'd make out to though.

Hmmm, well, like a few others said on here, I think it really depends on the mood. I would enjoy making out with someone to more of the evanescence type of music.

i think music might be a distraction, but that's just my oppinion. if my partner wanted to make out to music, then i'd give it a try, :-).

Post 12 by Goblin (I have proven to myself and the world that I need mental help) on Monday, 05-Sep-2005 12:31:31

how about a thunder symphony composed by Thor!...

Post 13 by candekissez (Generic Zoner) on Thursday, 08-Sep-2005 8:24:20

I havent really thought about it. I mean there are songs I hear and I think aww how sweet that'd be awesome to listen to with someone, but when it comes down to the situation mnost of the time the music isnt what is the least of my worries. Heck I can't even think of a time I've made out with music on.

in my latest situation it was Viva Losvegas Lol guess the reason being that's where we were, though I still don't really understand why Lol :) I found the music to be a distraction though! haha but I guess that could suit the more .. aggressive types! Lol Lol :) hahaha

Hmmmmm, makeout music, well, let's see. I don't think I have a favorite, but there was one time about two years ago when my X and I made out to She Fucking Hates Me by Puddle of mudd... How ironic. Anyway, that was kind of weird, I can agree with the fact though, it does depend on the mood of you and your partner!

Luckily for us our favourite club play Antichrist Superstar if we are indulging in S&M...the effect of that eerie driving music is just incredible :} :}

I agree with Beautiful_Dorian, I think music would be distracting. I've never made out before, but I know that if something else is going on around me if someone is just talking to me, sometimes it's hard to pay attention to the person or what I'm doing.

there's no make-out soundtrack for myself and my beau, we just let the mood set in and it's really nice that way cuz then you have the chance to make a memory with any random song you hear, whether it's romantic or a commercial on tv. i think making out is awesome with a random song cuz you could be in a car, a store or just listening to the radio and when that song comes on, it makes you remember the good times...ok, enough mush.

..."Skyrockets in Flight, Afternoon Delight"... o.k. o.k. so I am going extrememly back in time... It is just that when I first started making out that was a popular tune. Once in a very great while yet I hear it played and fond are the memories I recall.

"The Scientist" by Coldplay is my favorite makeout song. But Incubus, Damien Rice, and Fiona Apple are also very nice.

Post 21 by yankee g wolverine (Account disabled) on Thursday, 01-Jun-2006 19:03:30

ok, I'm not huge on music during simply making out, but my most memorable was by far, guns N roses, Sweet Child O Mine

Post 22 by frequency (the music man) on Thursday, 01-Jun-2006 19:10:30

either dream theater, or some type of jazz fusion. Actually, i'd be likely to cum myself listening to how beautiful that music is. but seriously, i'm a fan of smooth jazz. anything with a sax, or a smooth sounding guitar is good.

Hmm...make out music? "Lovers and Friends" & "Nice and Slow" by Usher. mmmm, that's if you just want it to be nice and romantic. Sometimes, I know people will laugh, but some good Keith Urban or Rascall Flatts is good. Or some John Mayer, accoustics. And then...It might be fun to make out to some rockish song. Hmm...I shall try this.

Post 24 by krisme (Ancient Zoner) on Thursday, 01-Jun-2006 19:37:44

Ok, here's a weird one for you: "Kill a Kitten" by Steven Lynch. It's the last thing you want to hear while you're making out, but it was on in the other room while a friend of mine and I engaged in some "extracurricular activities" so we could still hear it. It doesn't quite get you in the mood, though at that point neither of us really cared.

Post 25 by yankee g wolverine (Account disabled) on Thursday, 01-Jun-2006 21:58:32

tricia, want me to show you how to make out during a good rock song? lmfao

Post 26 by frequency (the music man) on Thursday, 01-Jun-2006 22:57:26

sorry, but it would have to be the instrumental of lovers and friends. Lil' john's voice just don't go with that shit!
